Custom Object Visibility Control
Custom Object Visibility Control allows admins to manage who can see each custom object within the organization. This helps ensure sensitive or internal-only data is only accessible to the right users.
How it works
Admins can configure visibility settings for each custom object, choosing whether it is visible to all users or restricted to admins only.
How to manage custom object visibility
Step 1: Open Custom Object Builder
Go to Settings
Select Custom Object Builder
Step 2: Select a custom object
From the list of custom objects, choose the object you want to manage
Locate the Visibility section on the object card
Step 3: Set visibility level
Choose one of the following options:
Visible to all users (default)
Admin-only visibility
Click Hide on the right side of the object to restrict access to admins only
Notes
Visibility settings apply at the object level, not individual records
Admin-only objects remain hidden from non-admin users across the CRM
You can update visibility at any time without affecting existing data
This feature helps teams stay organized while keeping sensitive custom objects properly controlled.
