Persons Association (Deals)

Persons Association allows you to manage and assign different people to a deal based on their roles.

This helps you clearly track who is involved, both internally and on the customer side, for every deal.


How Persons Association works

Each deal can have multiple people associated with it. These people can belong to:

  • Your internal team

  • The customer’s organization

  • Other relevant stakeholders

Each person can be assigned a specific role to clarify responsibility and involvement.


Step 1: Open a deal

  1. Go to Deals

  2. Select the deal you want to manage

Step 2: Open Persons association

  1. Inside the deal, select Person

  2. This view shows all people currently associated with the deal

You can see:

  • Internal team members

  • Linked customer contacts


Step 3: Add or edit associated persons

You can add, remove, or edit people associated with the deal.

This includes assigning people to different roles, such as:

  1. Deal Owner
    The person who created or is responsible for managing the deal.

  2. Internal Team
    Controls which internal team members have access to the deal.

  3. Customer’s Primary Contact
    The main point of contact on the customer’s side.

  4. All Relevant Contacts
    Any additional people involved in the deal, both internal and external.

Step 4: Save changes

After adjusting person associations, save the deal to apply the updates.

Changes will immediately reflect in the deal’s access and visibility.
