Custom Fields for Standard Objects

Custom Fields let admins extend Alano’s standard CRM objects—so you can track exactly the data that matters to your workflow (e.g. Telegram handle, deal priority, internal notes, custom tags).

You can add custom fields to Customers, Contacts, Deals, and Tasks.


Step 1: Go to Custom Fields settings

  1. Open Settings

  2. Select Standard Objects – Custom Fields

Step 2: Choose the object type

Select which object you want to customize:

  • Customers

  • Contacts

  • Deals

  • Tasks

Each object can have its own set of custom fields.

Step 3: Add a custom field

  1. Click Add Custom Field

  2. Choose the field type (text, number, dropdown, etc.)

  3. Enter the field name (e.g. Telegram, Priority, Internal Rating)

  4. Save the field

The new field will instantly appear in the selected object’s detail view.

What you can use it for

  • Track extra contact info (Telegram, LinkedIn, region)

  • Add internal deal attributes (priority, confidence level)

  • Customize task metadata for your team’s workflow

  • Keep all business-specific data inside Alano—no external tools needed
